What you will do:
- Lead and inspire the animation team to achieve high-quality character performances and believable body mechanics.
- Act as the operational bridge between the Animation Supervisor and the team, translating the director's vision into actionable feedback and daily tasks.
- Guide and mentor artists, fostering a culture of continuous learning through workshops and direct artistic/technical support.
- Solve complex technical challenges in the animation environment
- Calibrate artistic quality according to the project’s style and budget
- Collaborate with Layout to ensure the narrative and emotional intention of the storyboard is perfectly captured in the 3D space.
What we are looking for?
- Extensive experience (3-5 years) in 3D animation for high-end projects, with an exceptional portfolio focused on acting and character movement
- Deep mastery of the 12 principles of animation and advanced skills in software like Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
- Proven ability to lead teams, maintain a positive atmosphere, and assume supervisory responsibilities when necessary.
- A methodical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to provide clear feedback through draw-overs or technical demonstrations.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between creative directors, layout, and rigging departments.
- Advanced English is required for this leadership role.
